An All Level Course with Individual Coaching with Clare Harvey
“Acrylics are an excellent medium for a beginner for its low cost and easy cover-ability, while experienced painters love them for their versatility.
Each students’ need will be addressed first. Students may paint from their own photos & reference, or I will offer lessons designed to build skills in the areas of your choice.
I will teach you valuable problem-solving skills which will set you on a level path towards becoming a better artist.
*Every 1st Thursday of the month, we will have a class paint-a-long focusing on common challenges.”

ACRYLIC PAINTING Supply List
Supplies that you will need
Acrylic paints- If you are purchasing for the first time, I suggest: Alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow, and a large white. But, if you already have other primaries, we’ll start with those.
Paint brushes- Start with 3 different sizes like: #14 flat bristle, #10 filbert nylon, & #6 round detail brush. *Or use mine first to make a more experienced purchase.
Canvas- beginners may want to start with some 8”x10” canvas panels. You may already know what you would like to paint, and that is okay. You might bring a photo, or we might have a “paint-along”!
