Photography: Honorable Mention – Steve Blumenthal :”Woman with a Pink Parasol” This piece has a distinct mood to it that is enhanced by the limited pallette. The small geographic shapes are lovely and compliment the shapes created by the figure.

Professional: 2nd place-Kathleen Hartman “Motion” The large format lends to the energy of the piece. I can feel the movement in the figure expressed through the brushwork. Powerful!

2D: 2nd place-Darlene Cramer “Black and White and Red All Over” This piece tells a whole story and isnt that why we do this?

3 D: 1st place – Jan Yoshioka-“Silver Lining” “This person is very skilled at their craft. Meticulous and beautiful!

Professional 1st Place- Sheryl Unwin-” Rising Sun Warrior ” “Lovely Piece! The drawing is spot on , the technique is flawless and the design is crisp all presented in a very professional manner.

Professional: Honorable Mention – Frances Smith “Adam and his dog” A very unique way to present a drawing that is expertly executed. The yellow in the color does a nice job of connecting the composition.

2D: 1st place- Dave Pavesic “Nectar Harvest” A lovely example of texture and pattern. The simplification of some of the leaves makes it my favorite.

Photgraphy: Honorable Mention Linda Moreau-“Dream” The piece has a lovely abstract composition when you look past the kitty. Great choice on the formatting .

3 D: Honorable Mention – Michelle Moore “Bonzai Bones” Such delicate materials used in such a strong design. Unique!

2D: Honorable Mention- Bob Miller “Candle” Lovely composition and simple design

Photography: 1st place. John Hutson-“The Fleet in B &W +1” This piece would be nice in full color but is definetly enhanced by the limited palette. Beautifully simplified

2D: Honorable Mention Cyndi Gillim “Under the Sea” Dynamic Design and ther resin makes for a nice presentation.
